5 bedroom dwelling
The inclusion of this particular study is to show the variation in size and reasons why sprinklers are fitted. This project was carried out by a self-builder - It's a beautiful oak framed detached dwelling built in the heart of the Kent countryside. The owner who has a young family required the supply and fitting of a sprinkler system throughout his new build house because of sheer common sense. He realised that after spending so much of his time, money and life's dreams, the last thing he would want is for it all to go up in smoke. Apart from property protection our client had the added benefit of peace of mind for his ever growing family.
Proposal - To design and install a domestic fire sprinkler system installation to BS9251: 2005.
Alternatives - no amount of early warning systems or 30 fire resisting material would be enough to guarantee the protection of his home and the safety of his family.
Outcome - a content and secure client.
